Berrima Public School incorporates the Positive Behaviour system to enhance the capacity of our school to succeed with all students. We have established a school wide management framework which utilises a broad range of strategies for achieving important social behaviour and learning outcomes while preventing problem behaviour.
Our students know that we have high expectations of Respectful, Responsible and Resilient behaviour at all times and in all areas of the school.
Students are acknowledged and rewarded for being respectful, responsible and resilient learners through our school merit system.
Behaviour that infringes on the safety of others such as harassment, bullying or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.
Berrima Public School's Merit System
At Berrima Public School we want our students to achieve success in all areas of school life and to be respectful and responsible towards themselves, others and the environment. We aim to guide, monitor and build resilience for student's life-long learning because we believe that resilience will lead to greater success in life beyond school. In an effort to build and retain a positive school culture and to encourage positive behaviour for success, we have a reward system that recognises achievement and effort in all areas of school life.
