Sport is an area of excellence within Berrima Public School.
As a small school we participate in collaboration with 8 other small schools to make the Bong Bong team.
Our Cross country, Swimming Carnival and Athletics carnivals are all held with these other schools in order to make one team that can compete against the larger schools in our area.
Our students compete with enthusiasm, perseverence and sportsmanship. During the past year we have had students go on to represent in the Wingecarribee team in Cross Country, Swimming, Athletics, Rugby Union, Touch football and hockey.
We hold a Friday morning run each week where students are able to join the teachers and run on a Friday morning around the village or running track before enjoying breakfast.
Within our school we also hold an annual skip-off where students try and get the longest skipping time to be named champion.
Each year we are gaining more and more representative students as each child aims to reach a high standard of achievement.
